Unlike GRP composite doors, which are filled with foam, Solid Core Doors are made with a wooden core. The wooden core in a Solid Core door is made out of 16 layers of laminated veneered timber, making it especially sturdy and durable.

Being made with a wooden core makes Solid Core Doors stronger and more durable against wear. This means that they will stand the test of time.
Another benefit of having a Solid Core Door is that the thicker wooden core means it reduces noise transfer.
