Over 95%* of our customers pay the same price that is shown on our website.
The easiest way to get a quote for a new door is to visit our online Composite Door Designer, where you can choose from millions of design combinations.
To make this experience even more useful, you can also see the price as you design.
Once you have designed your new door, click on the 'Request a survey' button at the end of the design process and we will call you back to arrange a survey at a time and date that is convenient for you.
Yes we do cover areas outside of Chesterfield.
However, we may charge a survey fee if you are too far outside of our regular service area.
We regularly install doors in Mansfield, Dronfield, Bolsover, Clowne, Clay Cross and Glapwell.
Yes we do carry out surveys free of charge for customers who live within our regular service areas.
We would like to encourage customers to go on our Composite Door Designer before we carry out a survey, so they can have a clear idea of the price and options available to them before we arrive as this makes the process run more smoothly.
Yes. We provide doors as a 'door set' which means it includes a new frame, sill (where needed) and threshold etc...
Yes. All of our doors come with a full 10 year manufacture's warranty.
If you experience any issues within the 10 year warranty, just give us or the manufacturer a call.
Usually, we visit a property within 2 days of an issue being reported.
*95% of our customers pay the same price as shown on our website. However, until we conduct a survey we can not always guarantee the price. Additional charges may be applied if you live in an older property; for example if your property is 70 years old or more. This is because extra work and materials such as trim may be required when working on older buildings. Not all older properties need additional charges, but if they do it is usually no more than £50 Inc VAT.
If an additional charge is required we will let you know why this is during your survey and how much the additional charge will be.
Yes we do. We are licensed by the Environment Agency to take away the old frame, door and any other rubbish (licence number CBDU212121) . The old door and frames are also recycled where possible.
If you want us to dispose of your old door for you, we charge £30 for waste disposal.
Installations with a total cost of upto £3000 total inc VAT will require a 20% deposit.
To leave an even figure for your remaining balance we often 'round off' the deposit amount if the customer is happy to do so.
For example, if a total amount is £1145.78, we may ask for a deposit of £145.78 leaving a final amount of £1000 remaining, which would be due on completion of your installation. Chesterfield Composite Doors may extend the £3000 limit at our discretion.
Any jobs priced between £3000 and £10000 total inc VAT will require a 20% initial deposit, which will book in the installation at a convenient date for you. We would then ask for a second deposit of 30% to be made no later than 14 days prior to your installation date.
Leaving a 50% remaining balance to be paid once the work is complete.
Any jobs priced over £10000, we would discuss deposit payments with you.
