FD30S Composite Fire Doors

UKAS Fire Door Installers and City & Guilds Fire Door Inspectors

Due to the potential life saving requirements for FD30S fire doors, they should only be installed by qualified fire door installers.

Chesterfield Composite Doors' team of qualified door installers have fitted hundreds of Composite Fire Doors. Most of the fire doors we have fitted were for lease holders, who had received letters from Nottinghamshire, Sheffield and Derbyshire County Councils stating that their current doors didn't meet the most up to date fire safety regulations.

Our door fitters are registered UKAS Accredited FireQual Fire Door Installers and City and Guilds Fire Door Inspectors. This means that we can self-certify our work.

The FD30S composite fire doors that we install are certified with smoke seals and intumescent stripes, which have been tested by Certifire and Warrington. All of our composite fire doors are tested bi-directionally (on both sides) against fire and smoke, to the British Standard BS 476:1987, parts 22 and 31.

The externally rated composite fire doors that we offer, are tested to EN1634-1. We can also install our external fire doors internally if requested.

All of our fire doors come with a full installation warranty and up to 10 years manufacturer's warranty.

Both types of fire doors will come as a full door set. This means that your new door will come with a new door frame, handles, locks, CE marked hinges, intumescent strips, smoke seals and an automatic overhead self door closer (concealed door closers are available for an additional £250 including VAT). We also offer other door accessories such as door knockers, spyholes and fire rated letter plates (please see the pricing below).

All of our fire doors come with a Warrington fire Certifire certificate and a UKAS approved Fire Qual Fire Door installation certificate.

We can also provide Dual Certification, which includes Secured by Design and PAS24 certificates for externally rated fire doors.

Our internally rated fire doors can be made to the same design standards, but they do not come with the certification for Secured by Design or PAS24.

Our teams are qualified to carry out City & Guilds certified fire door inspections. If you require a fire door inspection, our starting price is £165 including VAT. (This price may vary depending on how many doors need inspecting and your location.)
